One off Chevy C10 and classic truck builds from our shop near Las Vegas. Chassis, power, paint and interior, planned around how you’ll drive it.
Nostalgia Hot Rods builds custom C10s and classic trucks at 1196 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, NV 89074, just outside Las Vegas, and at our second shop in Cedar City, Utah. Call (702) 369-7037. Every truck we build is a one off. It isn’t a catalogue spec with an options list. This page shows what goes into a custom C10, using three of our own trucks and the published source for each one.
A custom truck is a set of decisions that have to agree with each other. The engine sets what the chassis has to carry. The chassis sets how low the truck can sit. The wheels and the stance set how much the body has to change.
We plan those together with you before any metal gets cut. Here’s what that covers.
| Part of the build | What we decide with you | From one of our trucks |
|---|---|---|
| Engine | Which LS, and whether it’s supercharged | Valor: 6.2L aluminum LS with a Whipple 2.9L supercharger |
| Transmission | Automatic or manual, and how it’s geared | Atomic ’57: B&M 4L80E automatic |
| Chassis | A frame we build, or a complete aftermarket chassis | Valor: Speedtech Performance ExtReme chassis |
| Suspension | Coilovers or air ride, and how the rear is located | Atomic ’57: RideTech Shockwave air with a custom four link |
| Brakes | Disc brakes sized for the power | Atomic ’57: Wilwood front and rear |
| Body | What gets smoothed, shaved or made new | Perseverance: cowl induction hood, smoothed bumper, flush glass |
| Paint and interior | Color, materials, seats and gauges | Atomic ’57: PPG Atomic Silver, HRH Designs interior |
Start with the truck you love the look of. The frame and running gear underneath are what we change, so the starting truck doesn’t have to be perfect.
Perseverance started as a 1967 C10 farm truck from Idaho, with rust in the floor, the rockers and the drip rails. Valor is a second generation C10 from the 1967 to 1972 run, according to BendPak’s announcement of the build. Atomic ’57 is the Chevy pickup from a decade earlier.
Rust and a tired frame are normal. What matters more is whether the cab and the sheet metal are worth saving, and we’ll look at that with you first.
Street Trucks reported in October 2023 that we do fabrication, interior and paint in our own shop. When a specialist adds something, like the HRH Designs seats in Perseverance and Atomic ’57, we say so.
These three trucks show how differently a classic Chevy pickup can be built. Each line below comes from a published source, named in the last column.
| Truck | Power | Chassis and suspension | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Valor, second generation C10 | 6.2L LS, Whipple 2.9L, 650 whp | Speedtech ExtReme chassis, Speedtech independent rear, QA1 coilovers | BendPak, 2026 |
| Perseverance, 1967 C10 | Small block V8 | Custom frame with CPP, RideTech, Firestone and Wilwood parts | Our Perseverance page |
| Atomic ’57, 1957 Chevy pickup | LS3, 535 hp and 515 lb ft | TCI frame, Mustang II front, RideTech air, custom four link | Street Trucks, Oct 2023 |
Valor is BendPak’s first custom vehicle build, and BendPak chose us to build it. It’s a tribute to the U.S. armed forces, built on a second generation Chevy C10.
BendPak lists the plan on its Valor page. A 6.2L aluminum LS block is topped with a Whipple 2.9L twin screw supercharger, for 650 horsepower at the wheels. It sits on a Speedtech Performance ExtReme chassis. Speedtech independent rear suspension with four way adjustable QA1 coilovers replaces the factory leaf springs.
The truck is being built at our Cedar City, Utah shop. BendPak says it will be revealed at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, November 3 to 6.

The outside of a custom truck often looks simple. That’s usually the hardest part to get right.
Atomic ’57 wears PPG Atomic Silver over a custom grille, hood, bumpers and bed, as Street Trucks described in October 2023. Inside, it has deep red leather on custom bucket seats, a custom center console, hand woven carpet and Dakota Digital gauges.
Perseverance went further on the body. It has a cowl induction hood, a smoothed front bumper, flush mounted front and rear glass and a custom raised bed floor. The bucket seats were designed and made by HRH Designs, and a Samsung tablet sits in the center of the dash.
You choose how far to take it. Some owners want a clean, stock looking cab with modern comfort. Others want every surface made new.
The original C10 frame and suspension were built for a work truck. Modern power, big wheels and a low stance ask more of them than they were designed for. So most of our truck builds start underneath.
There are two ways to do it. We can build the frame ourselves, as we did for Perseverance with parts from CPP, RideTech, Firestone and Wilwood. Or we can start from a complete aftermarket chassis, like the TCI frame under Atomic ’57 and the Speedtech chassis under Valor.
Neither is the right answer for every truck. A custom frame gives the most freedom over stance and fit. A complete chassis arrives engineered as a package. We’ll tell you which one suits your plans and why.
Ride is the next choice. Air suspension lets you change the ride height, so the truck can sit on the ground at a show and still clear a driveway. Coilovers, like the QA1s on Valor, are set once and tuned for how the truck drives.
It starts with a call or the quote form. We talk about the truck, your plans and how you’ll use it.
Then we plan the whole build at once: engine, chassis, suspension, brakes, body, paint and interior. The work moves through our shop from there.
Our projects typically take 9 to 12 months, as All Chevy Performance reported in June 2024. More custom fabrication takes longer, and we’ll say so at the start.
You don’t need to live near Las Vegas or Cedar City. Our builds ship to collectors, racers and enthusiasts across the world.
We showed 10 vehicles at SEMA 2023, as Motorious reported that November. Our trucks have been featured in Street Trucks, and Valor is headed to SEMA 2026.
Our Perseverance page has the full story and photos of the 1967 C10. Atomic ’57 shows the 1957 Chevy pickup in detail.
